Since 2012, Wolfgang Drees is a Partner with a the highly regarded German consulting firm H+H Senior Advisors GmbH, a group of very senior, personally and financially independent industry advisors, based in Stuttgart, Germany. H+H Senior advisors is a leading advisory firm, focused on consulting in the areas of strategy and governance for family owned businesses, mentoring and coaching for entrepreneurs, BoD memberships etc.
He was CEO of Rieter Automotive Systems (Winterthur, Switzerland), leading partner of the global automotive industry in the areas of Vehicle Acoustics and Thermal Management. Under his leadership, Rieter Automotive successfully completed a turnaround and was listed as an independent company (Autoneum AG) at the Zurich Stock Exchange in 2011.
He is member of the Board of Directors at different family owned and private equity owned companies as well as member of the Advisory Board of a well-known private equity company.
Prior to joining Rieter Automotive, he spent a long career (1977 to 2005) with the Bosch Group occupying positions of responsibility across various functions, business sectors and countries. He was a member of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany, from 2002 through 2005, with responsibility for the divisions Chassis Systems, Power Tools, Thermal Technology and Metals Technology as well as for the regions France, Spain and Portugal.
