Subhash brings, amongst others, the following skill sets to the table:
- In-depth knowledge of Finance and Management Accounting
- Hands-on experience in handling Direct and Indirect Taxation in the Indian environment
- Extensive exposure to global and multi-cultural business environment
Subhash’s professional career of 35 years boasts of a robust background in managerial finance. A Cost and Management Accountant by qualification, he has worked extensively in the finance functions of domestic as well as MNC organizations in India and in the Gulf, across diverse industries, including manufacturing, forging, auto ancillary, food processing and civil construction.
Additionally, he brings in specialized knowledge of regulatory affairs and related liaising skills. Prior to IBA, Subhash was General Manager – Finance with Bosch Chassis Systems, Pune and with Chassis Brakes International, Pune.
A post-graduate in Commercial Studies from the University of Pune, Subhash qualified as a Cost & Management Accountant in 1982. He has also been active for several years in the field of education, training students in multiple facets of business and commerce.
Away from the professional front, Subhash is an avid reader of literature on Indian Spirituality & History and can also be found honing his culinary skills.
