An alumnus of illustrious educational institutes like IIT Bombay and JBIMS, Ravi brings, amongst others, the following skill sets to the table:
- Exposure of global and multi-cultural business environments, particularly European, American and Japanese
- Detailed knowledge of Commercial functions, Finance, IT, Corporate Affairs & HR
- Business Strategy formulation and execution
Ravi’s professional career of 36 years features recent 17 years in the automotive industry (OEM and Auto Components) in a multinational environment.
Working with MNCs like Robert Bosch, Germany; PIAGGIO, Italy and Akebono Brake Mfg, Japan, Ravi has significantly contributed in financial planning and control, defining business strategy, compliance audit, and business portfolio management including carve-outs. Importantly, he has served as a member of management boards and has developed sound understanding of business drivers. Prior to IBA, Ravi has served as the EVP and CFO of Foundation Brakes Mfg Pvt. Ltd.
Ravi has also been active on the educational front as a visiting faculty at leading business schools for about two decades. He is an active Rotarian as well and has initiated a number of education-related outreach programmes through the Rotary Club.
